The Kaatza Station Museum and Archives hold several large collections of archival records relating to both local, British Columbian, and Canadian history. Finding aids are in the process of being produced, and will be posted here as and when they become available. Archival collections include:
This enormous trove of forestry labour union records was acquired by the museum in 2014. It includes historical and administrative records of the national office for IWA Canada (formerly I.W.A. Western Canada Regional Council 1), as well as records produced by local union offices in Duncan, Vancouver, Courtenay, and Port Alberni.
Contained here are records, historical documents, and photographs produced by residents and community organizations linked to the town of Lake Cowichan.
